Open Doors is a community resource fair that takes place annually. This is an opportunity for community organizations and agencies to come together and showcase the services they have to offer. Ampla Health will be there tabling and offering information about the services provided such as Medical, Dental, Pharmacy and Express Care.

Oroville will be celebrating Veteran’s Day with an amazing parade! Veterans Day is a day for all Americans to honor the contributions of service men and women throughout our nation’s history. The event will allow families to “enjoy a candy-free, tobacco-free, and sweetened beverage-free” event while learning about resources in the area in a fun and engaging way. Feather River Recreation & Parks District is hosting a Trunk or Treat a safe and family-friendly night of music and Halloween Fun! Ampla Health will have a booth at the event and will share with the attendees all of the services offered.

The City of Arbuckle will host their cars show event October 27th at the Lavanche Hursh Park. Goodie bags and dash plates will be provided to early birds! Ampla Health will have a booth at the event and will offer information about its services including insurance enrollment.

The Consulate General of Mexico in Sacramento is holding a Health and Financial Resources Fair in recognition of Binational Health Week. The campaign was created in 2001 to help identify and address health disparities, specifically, in Latino and Hispanic communities. Each year the Oroville Salmon Festival celebrates the return of the Salmon to the Feather River. Come on down to the beautiful Historic Downtown Oroville for a variety of activities. There will be a Keynote Speaker, advocate, survivor Menna McKaye. There will be information about the efforts in place to respond to this issue.
